1. Introduction
Welcome to PlayDuvet®.  These terms & conditions govern your use of the PlayDuvet®  website, please read them carefully. By visiting the PlayDuvet® website you accept, and agree to, the content of these terms & conditions. We reserve the right to change our website, policies and these terms & conditions at any time. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you use the website and it is your responsibility to check these regularly before ordering. This does not affect your statutory rights. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the page.


2. Information about us
The web site is operated by us, PlayDuvet®. We are a company registered in England and Wales under Company registration number 7308709. Our registered office address is at Fern Cottage, Llwyn Nwydog Farm, Cowbridge Road, Talygarn, Pontyclun, CF72 9JU.


3. Use of the website
If you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure that the details you provide to us are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering.
PlayDuvet® endeavours to make the website accessible 24 hours a day. However we will not be liable for any losses you may suffer if the website is unavailable at any time or you r access to the website is interrupted, delayed or restricted for any reason. The website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair.


4. Order process - shopping on line
We offer secure on-line transactions. You can select goods from the website and add them to your basket and you can monitor the details of your spending by checking the details displayed on the screen at any time. When you have finished shopping you can proceed to the checkout area where you will be able to view what you have selected and delete or add items if desired.
To proceed with your order we will ask details of your name, postal address and e-mail address.
By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods, which if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Once the order is placed you will receive an email confirmation that the order has been received and is being processed. The order confirmation is not a guarantee that the goods will be supplied. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we have insufficient stock, do not deliver to your area or the product was listed at an incorrect price. In the rare case that we cannot fulfil your order we will notify you of the order cancellation via email within five days.


5. Products
PlayDuvet® takes reasonable care to ensure that published product details, specifications and suitability information appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.  We endeavour to ensure that colours appear as realistic as possible, however, owing to the limitations of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction.  Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.


6. Availability and delivery times
PlayDuvet® endeavours to ensure availability of all advertised products and to deliver your items within 2-5 working days of receipt of your order.   You will be informed as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.  If there is a delay we will inform you of this via email and the product will be despatched as soon as it is available.  If you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately.
PlayDuvet® has no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered.  We do our best to get all orders sent out as quickly as possible, usually the same or the next working day. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time, just contact sales@playduvet.com with your order number.  Occasionally we may have to withdraw an item because it has been discontinued.


7. Price and payment
We accept orders online and by phone.
Our secure check out uses WorldPay to process payments.  Accepted payment methods include payment by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch, and Visa Delta.  If you'd like to pay by bank transfer or cheque, it must clear our bank before products will be shipped.  Cheques can be made out to ‘PlayDuvet Ltd’ and sent to:

Important: Your billing address must match the cardholder's statement address.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates. It may be necessary to adjust prices in the event of an increase in VAT rates, or as a result of price increases faced by us. Customers are entitled to a full refund if this is not acceptable. Postage and Packing costs will be added at checkout, and will vary depending on the value, size, weight, and delivery address of the order.
Due to the nature of the credit card clearing system your credit card payment will be taken at the point of processing. If a problem in supply should occur, your payment method will be refunded as soon as possible. The refund may take a couple of days to show as cleared funds on your account, depending on the payment provider.
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your PlayDuvet® order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility.

8 Delivery and postage
If you pay online using WorldPay you will receive an electronic receipt of your order (in the form of an e-mail) with your reference number against each purchase. If applicable you should quote that reference number in case of queries.
Goods will be dispatched to the address given by you in your order.
Goods will not be dispatched for delivery by PlayDuvet®, until we have received full payment for the goods, including any applicable delivery charges, in cleared funds.
Orders are normally delivered within 2-5 working days of your order being placed. In the event of your order being delayed due to unforeseen circumstances we shall contact you by phone or e-mail to advise you of the revised delivery date of your goods.  Please be aware that when delivery dates coincide with public holidays your delivery time may be longer.

Shipping Information - UK
We send our orders using Royal Mail because we find this one of the quickest, easiest and most reliable services.  We have proof of postage for all items and all orders are sent recorded, which means that you will need to sign for them on arrival.  Whilst we appreciate that this can be a bit of a pain if you aren’t at home, we do this to ensure that you and we are protected in the rare event that something goes astray.  If your order is returned to us for non-delivery/non-collection, we may have to charge you again for your items to be redelivered.
Royal Mail do not offer a 2nd class service for Recorded (Signed For) packages over 1kg, they must be sent 1st class.  At the checkout you will be offered the option for 1st or 2nd class only if the items in your basket weigh less than 1kg (including packaging).
* We do not charge for packaging and we charge a maximum of £5 postage on all orders*
If you are only purchasing PlayDuvet® accessories therefore, your postage will be less than £5, charged at actual Royal Mail prices.  If you are purchasing a PlayDuvet® or more, you will be charged £5 postage and we will pay the rest.

Shipping Information - EU
Although, we've tried to be cost effective when shipping to the EU, our priority is your goods arriving safely and quickly. For this reason we've chosen Royal Mail Air Sure which is a priority handling, signed for, delivery service. Packages are also insured appropriately. For this peace of mind, our shipping costs are approximately £8 per kilo / item. Please contact hello@playduvet.com to place your order.

Shipping Information - US, Canada & Rest of World
All products can be ordered and shipped to the rest of the world. Shipping Costs are approximately £14 per kg and include insurance. Please contact hello@playduvet.com to place your order.


9. Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order please send an e-mail to info@playduvet.com.
If the order has not shipped at the time we receive your request, PlayDuvet® will issue a full refund. If the order has already shipped, we regret that we cannot call back the articles. Please see the return policy for returning your order and requesting a refund.


10. Returns and refunds
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return your unused purchase for refund or replacement within 30 days of the original shipment date. We advise you to insure your return as we can't be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If you paid for your order by credit card, and are returning, not replacing the item, a credit will be issued upon receipt of the product.
In the unlikely event that anything should go wrong with your delivery, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement or refund. If any damage has occurred, please keep all articles in their original packaging, as we might need it for insurance purposes. Should we require the damaged item to be returned, then we will reimburse you for the cost. Please do not return damaged items before contacting us. 
Important: Refunds can only be credited against the credit card used to make the purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept returned goods not in their original condition, at our own discretion.

We will inform you as soon as we receive the returned goods and we will then process your request either by a refund or replacement as quickly as possible.


11. Use of the site
You must not use the PlayDuvet® website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, interruption, damage or impairment to the website or access to it. You, and not PlayDuvet® are responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from your computer to us and you must use the website for lawful purposes only. Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat or by use of obscene or abusive language is strictly forbidden.


12. Refusal of transaction
PlayDuvet® reserves the right to withdraw any products or special offer discounts from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product or special offer from this website, whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. We reserve the right to end special offers or discounts early for any reason.


13. Liability
PlayDuvet® shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill). This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims. We will use reasonable endeavours to get all orders dispatched as quickly as possible. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being dispatched.
PlayDuvet® shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation, other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain types of goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.


14. Events beyond our control
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver the goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.


15. Privacy
PlayDuvet® will never wilfully sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transmit any personally identifiable information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission.


16. Copyright
Unless otherwise stated, all rights, including copyright, in the content of these web pages are owned and controlled for these purposes by PlayDuvet® and is protected by UK and International copyright and database laws.
You may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store, transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content of these pages for any other purpose whatsoever, in any medium, without the prior written permission of PlayDuvet®.


18. Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Nothing in these terms & conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable local law or to limit your statutory rights.
